1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using Womb Mates, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Important: Not Medical Advice

Womb Mates is a logistical tracking tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.

The app is designed to help caregivers log and organise feeding activity. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.

If you have any concerns about your children's feeding, health, or development, please consult a registered healthcare provider. Information displayed in this app should not be relied on as medical advice.

3. Eligibility

Womb Mates is designed for parents and caregivers. By using the app or creating an account, you confirm that you are using it in that capacity and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. About Womb Mates

Womb Mates is an application designed to help caregivers track and manage twin feeding activity and related information. The app is provided for organisational purposes only.

5. Accounts

An account is required to use Womb Mates.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.

6. Shared Accounts and Caregiver Access

Womb Mates may allow eligible users to create a shared account with linked caregivers.

  • Shared caregiver access is only available to paid account owners.
  • Each caregiver must create and maintain their own account and login credentials.
  • A linked caregiver may be able to view, add, and update baby profiles, feeding logs, notes, timestamps, and other shared baby-related data within the shared account.
  • The account owner is responsible for deciding who to invite, safeguarding invite codes, and ensuring they only link caregivers they trust to access and update shared account data.
  • The account owner controls shared-account membership and may revoke a caregiver's access at any time.
  • A linked caregiver may leave a shared account at any time from within the app.
  • We may limit the number of linked caregivers on an account.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account, including activity by linked caregivers you invite to a shared account, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these Terms or applicable law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Attempt to access accounts belonging to other users
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the application

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of Womb Mates is also governed by our Privacy Policy (linked here), which explains how personal data is collected, used, and your rights under UK GDPR.

9. Free Trial, Purchases and Billing

The app currently includes a free trial that allows you to log up to 50 feeding records before purchase is required to continue adding records.

  • The free trial is based on the number of feeding records logged, not a time period.
  • Feeding records logged while offline also count toward the free trial limit once synced.
  • After the trial limit is reached, you may still view existing data, but you must complete an in-app purchase to continue adding new feeding records.
  • If the account owner purchases access, linked caregivers on that shared account may use the unlocked features subject to these Terms.

In-app purchases, billing, and purchase restoration are handled through the platform you used to obtain the app and related payment services.

  • Apple App Store handles iOS billing and related refund rules under Apple's terms and policies.
  • Google Play handles Android billing and related refund rules under Google's terms and policies.
  • RevenueCat is used by Womb Mates to manage purchase status, entitlements, and restore-purchase functionality across supported platforms.

You are responsible for using the same Apple App Store or Google Play account originally used for purchase when attempting to restore a purchase on a new device.

Prices, taxes, billing flows, and refund rights may vary by platform, region, and store policy. Except where required by law, we do not control and are not responsible for third-party billing decisions, payment failures, or refund handling by Apple or Google.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep Womb Mates available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Features may be updated, modified or discontinued over time. We shall not be liable for any interruption to the service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including infrastructure outages, third-party service failures, or events of force majeure.

11. Account Deletion and Access Removal

You may delete your account at any time within the app under Profile -> Delete Account.

You can also request account deletion by emailing support@wombmates.app from the email address linked to your account.

If you are the account owner, deleting your account permanently removes the shared account and associated data from active systems, including baby profiles, feeding records, active invite codes, and linked caregiver access, subject to any limited retention required by law.

If you are a linked caregiver, deleting your account removes your own account and unlinks you from the shared account. The account owner's data and shared baby records are not deleted solely because a linked caregiver deletes their account.

If you are an account owner, you may also revoke a caregiver's access without deleting your own account. If you are a linked caregiver, you may leave a shared account without deleting the account owner's shared data.

12. Limitation of Liability

Womb Mates is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those implied by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant in-app purchase.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from use of the app, except where such loss arises from our breach of a statutory duty owed to you as a consumer.

Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms. You may have rights in relation to digital content that are separate from and in addition to these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
